Sometimes we get here early or leave late so our hours are extended. On the extremely rare occasion that our staff is not here as planned, we are very sorry for the inconvenience.

We take our responsibilities seriously but we are all a bunch of actual humans with crazy busy lives. That means we may be late for any of the following reasons:

Illness including child, parent, spouse, neighbor, cat, dog or self. Transportation issues related to teenagers, unexpected auto repairs or weather. Household issues including plumbing, electrical, heating, air conditioning and pest control. A variety of parenting responsibilities that exceed the allotted time including school events, meetings, doctors/ dentist/veterinarian appointments, forgotten books, homework, lunch, or anything with a signature and most frequent of all money needed.

Café temporarily closed

The café is temporarily closed.  We are working with a community organization to transform the café and bring an exciting concept to Greater Pittsburgh.  We apologize for the inconvenience.  It is still available for event and meeting rentals.  For information on rental of any of our facilities click here.

The Artsmiths is located in the South Hills of Pittsburgh in the former Rollier’s “barn” at the bottom of McFarland Road near the end of Banksville Road.  We are situated next to Atria’s and are part of the wonderful Beverly Road Business District.  Make a day of it and experience firsthand all that the community has to offer.

The Artsmiths’ is also accessible by Port Authority of Allegheny County Bus #36.  The bus stop is located in front of neighboring business—The Fireplace and Patioplace—a short walk from The Artsmiths.

Ample free and ADA parking is available in The Artsmiths’ parking lot.
